Student Authors

In order to inculcate scientific research temperament in students, the Journal of Anatomical Sciences is introducing a section for ‘Student Authors’. This section is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students currently enrolled in M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. courses.

 

Important Instructions

Students can submit manuscripts in the form of –

​

1. Full length original articles

2. Brief communications including case reports

3. Review articles

4. Book reviews

5. Letters to the editor

 

All submissions in the ‘Student Authors’ section should be made under the supervision of an experienced faculty member as the corresponding author.

 

The student author will be the first author of the manuscript submitted in the ‘Student Authors’ section.

 

The student author should have made a significant contribution to the preparation of the manuscript as per the prescribed ‘Authorship’ guidelines of this journal. Each submission should be accompanied by a statement describing the contribution and undersigned by the student author (s).

 

The guidelines for submission will remain the same as prescribed in the ‘Author Guidelines’ section.

 

All submissions to the ‘Student Authors’ section will be eligible for a 50% waiver of the Article Processing Charges.
